<description>hey unni, you're so very right, and as karma would have it, this trip provided me with my second experience of suicidal canines! with rather a hefty price tag, blast and double-blast.... bumper gone, a/c system wrecked!

what compounds the irony is that this was on the one leg of the maharashtra highway that actually charged a toll for use! and the precautionary steps they've taken? to put up road-signs that feature a cow!! :o)

ah well, we're a country that worships the cow, have temples that allow rats and poultry a free run, and encourage dogs to crap at will on our streets. so this is as good as it gets i guess.

hoping to share some travel musings during the coming days.

		<description>Nicely written.

He forgot about one of the most important issue on our roads. How to handle the wild &#38; not so wild life that have developed a affinity for tarred surfaces.

Having had 3 encounters myself during my long drives I must say that it is another skill which has to be developed. What with grazing cows, buffaloes, pigs, etc.

Welcome back anyway. Give us details about your last trip.

Cheers
